Grant Summary
In FY 2007, Wright State University received 576 awards for a total of $71,377,270. The region’s leader in biomedical research, the Boonshoft School of Medicine received 169 awards for a total of $25,503,785 during that same time period. Areas in the school that received awards of more than $500,000 included two for projects in the Homeland Emergency Learning and Preparedness (HELP) Center, four in the Lifespan Health Research Center and two in the Center for Interventions, Treatment and Addictions Research. Federal grants were received from the Department of Health and Human Services and various National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, NASA and the Department of Education.
