Grant Summary for Fiscal Year 2008

In FY 2008, Wright State University received 580 awards for a total of $69,119,080. The region’s leader in biomedical research, the Boonshoft School of Medicine received 148 awards for a total of $26,397,357 during that same time period. Areas in the school that received awards of more than $500,000 included the Comprehensive Neuroscience Center, the National Center for Medical Readiness, the Lifespan Health Research Center and the Center for Interventions, Treatment and Addictions Research. Federal grants were received from the Department of Health and Human Services and various National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, NASA and the Department of Education.
