We Welcome Our Incoming Residents

High noon, Thursday, March 20, was an hour of excitement and anticipation as fourth-year medical students across the nation learned where they will begin their residencies. About 15 percent of Boonshoft School of Medicine's graduating class chose residencies in emergency medicine, including four who entered Wright State's program. More than 500 applied for emergency medicine residencies at WSU, according to Chair Glenn Hamilton, M.D.

The Department of Emergency Medicine is pleased to announce the incoming R1 class:

  • James Bence, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Megan Dines, Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine
  • Courtney Florenzano, Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine
  • Gregory Kohls, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine
  • Clifford Lightfoot, Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Thomas Masters, Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine
