WSU Summer Study Course to help High School Students

DAYTON, OHIO -- The deadline for applying for Wright State University's Summer Science Apprenticeship Program for high school students this summer is January 31, 2000. The six-week program will run June 12 through July 21.

Science apprenticeship program seeks to strengthen science and problem-solving skills of high school students to help prepare them for college science studies. Students who consider themselves to be economically, socially, or educationally disadvantaged are strongly urged to apply. To be eligible, students must have completed one year each of high school biology, chemistry, and math by June 2000. Students who are selected will be paid a stipend to permit them to participate in the program.
