WSU Academy of Medicine honors Patel as Outstanding Student
DAYTON, OHIO -- The Wright State University Academy of Medicine presented
Manish P. Patel with its Outstanding 4th-Year Student Award recently
at the Academy's annual dinner. The award is presented annually to a
fourth-year student at Wright State School of Medicine in recognition
of leadership and scholastic abilities. Included in the honor is a $1500
cash prize.
After graduation from Wright State University School of Medicine, Patel
will begin a physician residency in urology at the University of North
Carolina. Patel earned a bachlor of science degree from Rutgers University
College of Pharmacy.
The Academy of Medicine is a professional organization of the Wright
State School of Medicine faculty. In addition to recognizing professional
achievement in medical education and research, the Academy provides financial
assistance to Wright State medical students.
