Adventure Golf Tournament benefits medical scholarships
DAYTON, OHIO -- Wright State University medical students are sponsoring
a miniature golf tournament Saturday, May 17, to raise money for medical
school scholarships at Wright State.
The Second Annual Adventure Golf Scholarship Classic will run from 11:00
a.m.-5 p.m. at Adventure Golf, 4430 North Main Street, Dayton. The tournament
will be organized in teams of two competing in either junior (ages 10-17)
or senior (18 and older) divisions.
The registration fee is $8 per team member for registration in advance
and $10 per team member on the day of the event. For a registration form
or more information, call 775-2972. If the event is rained-out on May
17th, it will be held on Sunday, May 18th.
All proceeds from the Adventure Golf Scholarship Classic will help to
fund academic scholarships at Wright State University School of Medicine.
The grand prize for the winning team in the senior division is a Florida
vacation package for two, including a stay at a beautiful beach condo,
courtesy of All World Travel, the area's largest locally owned and operated
travel management company. Other prizes include trophies, restaurant
gift certificates and special prizes for the junior division. Everyone
registered for the event will be entered in a drawing to win a sensational
prize.
