Cool appointed assistant professor
at Wright State University School of Medicine
DAYTON, OHIO -- Dr. David R. Cool has been appointed assistant professor
in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Wright State University
School of Medicine, effective immediately.
Cool comes to the position from Bethesda, Maryland, where he was an
IRTA postdoctoral research fellow at the National Institutes of Health,
National Institutes of Child Health and Human Development-Laboratory
of Developmental Neurobiology.
A native of Jackson, Ohio, Cool received a bachelors and a masters degree
in biology from Wright State University. He completed his Ph.D. degree
in biochemistry at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia.
Cool is a member of the American Society for Cell Biology. He recently
served on the editorial review committee for the Fellows Award for Research
Excellence at the National Institutes of Health.
