  • Students Info | News: Wright State's graduating medical students will be entering prestigious residency training programs across the country this summer, including the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City and UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.   • Faculty & Staff Info | News: The Department of Dermatology will join other Dayton area dermatologists to offer free skin cancer screenings during the week of May 12-16. Appointments may be made between Monday, April 28 and Friday, May 9.
  • Health Info | News: Wright State medical students invite you to participate in Drive for a Difference, the fifth annual golf outing to benefit Reach Out of Montgomery County and the Jacob P. Deerhake Memorial Scholarship, at the Beavercreek Golf Club, on Friday, May 16.
  • What's New on the Boonshoft School of Medicine Web?
    • The Comprehensive Neuroscience Center has expanded its web site to feature information about research it is conducting under the Program Project Grant (PPG)awarded by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). The $4.8 million grant is the first PPG Wright State University has received.
    • There's a new "front door" especially for current students that brings together information ranging from academic policies and resources to planning for life outside of school and after graduation. There are similar portals to information for faculty and staff and resident physicians. Suggestions are welcome. Contact the Office of Public Relations.
    • As part of a complete reorganization of the school's Web site, the Web Advisory Committee is implementing a new content management system, which should make it easier for departments to keep their Web pages updated. Departments are encouraged to contact the Boonshoft School of Medicine Office of Marketing & Communications for more information.
  • Public Relations has changed its name to Marketing & Communications.
  • Many SOM Administrative Offices have moved to University Park, 3817 Col. Glenn Highway, across from the main campus, including Advancement, the Dean's Office, Faculty & Clinical Affairs, Fiscal Affairs, Marketing & Communications, SOM Network Services, Support Operations and Word Processing.
  • The Office of Advancement is seeking Alumni Class Notes for publication in Vital Signs and use in an online database for SOM alumni.
