The conference, "Issues in Geriatric Pharmacotherapy: A Multi-disciplinary Update," will present a spectrum of geriatric conditions and medications therapies and an in-depth update of practical information on how to deal with the health issues of the older adult. Topics covered during the event include:
"The burgeoning numbers of older adults in today's managed health care systems challenges all health care providers to provide high quality health care while balancing cost-effective medical decisions," says William Tindall, Ph.D., R.Ph, professor of family medicine at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. "This event will provide medical professionals with in-depth updates and practical information to help deal with these challenging issues." Dayton, Ohio - A symposium focusing on the health issues of older adults will be held Saturday, May 19, from 7:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., in the Berry Room at Wright State's Nutter Center. The event is designed for physicians, nurses, hospice care professionals, pharmacists and anyone who is interested in providing better health care to older adults.
