Medical Student Research Club

The Medical Student Research Club is a student organization established in 2007 to promote research opportunities for medical students at Wright state University Boonshoft School of Medicine. The Research Club organizes meetings, lectures, and workshops throughout the academic year, including the RLC Lecture Series (formerly the Translational Research Lecture Series). Programming culminates in April with the annual Medical Student Research Symposium.

The Research Club has worked with the Office of Research Affairs to develop a series of research elective courses for medical students. The first-year elective, Introduction to the Research Learning Community (SMD 616), is offered to M1 students in January-July. The second-year elective, Research Learning Community 2 (SMD 617) is offered to M2 students in September-April.
