Call for Posters

The Office of Research Affairs at the Boonshoft School of Medicine will present the 2013 Central Research Forum on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 4:00-7:30 p.m. in the WSU Student Union.

The CRF will include a data blitz and poster session showcasing the range of Wright State’s biomedical, clinical, translational, medical education, and public health research. All WSU investigators, graduate students, and medical students are invited to present posters on their current or recent work. Posters presented at national conferences in the past year are strongly encouraged.

LIMITED SUBMISSION: Due to space and logistical constraints, this year’s poster session will be limited to 80 posters, with only one poster per presenting author. Choose your best work! The presenting author for each poster is expected to attend the poster session and reception.

DEADLINE: Poster submission is now CLOSED. Thank you!

POSTER REQUIREMENTS: We will provide an easel and 4'x6' foam-core board for mounting your poster. Be sure to bring your own push pins for mounting. Posters can be set up between 3:00-5:00 p.m.on Oct. 24. Posters must be taken down by 7:30 p.m. on the same day.

DATA BLITZ (5:00-5:30 p.m.; E156 Student Union): 15 presenters will get two minutes each (NO POWERPOINTS!) to tell the audience why they should take a closer look at the presenter's research during the poster session. Data Blitz sign-up is now closed - thank you!

RECEPTION & POSTER SESSION (5:30-7:00 p.m.; Student Union Apollo Room): Share your research with colleagues and potential collaborators in a stimulating, convivial setting!
