
The Office of Research Affairs will host a Central Research Forum on Tuesday, October 19, from 2:00-7:00 p.m. in the Wright State University Student Union. All School of Medicine faculty and research graduate students are invited to attend and participate.
The keynote speaker will be Lillian M. Pubols, Ph.D., a former scientific review administrator at the National Institutes of Health who now provides grants consulting to Wright State investigators. She will present "Grantsmanship 101: Writing a Grant Application with the Reviewer in Mind." (Read more about the topic). The agenda also includes: PANEL PRESENTATIONS: Steven Berberich, Ph.D.; Douglas Lehrer, M.D.; and Harvey Siegal, Ph.D., will discuss current research directions at Wright State. RECEPTION & POSTER SESSION: All School of Medicine faculty and research graduate students are invited to present posters on their current or recent research. Posters presented at national conferences in the past year are strongly encouraged. This session is an opportunity to share your research with colleagues and potential collaborators in a stimulating, convivial setting. (See Call for Posters for online submission) DATA BLITZ: Ten presenters will get 2 minutes each (using just one overhead transparency) to tell the audience why they should take a closer look at the presenter's research during the poster session.
