Office of Research Affairs

medical student research symposiumThe Office of Research Affairs promotes the wide range of biomedical and clinical research conducted at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and its affiliated institutions. Research Affairs provides strategic planning to the dean of the Boonshoft School of Medicine and other community leaders for research development at Wright State and throughout the Miami Valley region.

The office works in conjunction with Wright State’s Office of Research and Sponsored Programs to enhance extramural funding opportunities for BSOM faculty. It provides staff support for the medical school Research Committee and Research Learning Community and administers the school’s internal grant programs. Research Affairs promotes collaboration in the research community through the BSOM Research Symposium and other scientific meetings.
