Core Facilities in Pharmacology & Toxicology
The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology is located on the second floor of the Health Sciences Building on Wright State University's main campus. There are seven laboratories for faculty research, a secure surety facility, a darkroom, and other rooms for supporting research and teaching. A Proteomics Analysis Laboratory and Confocal Imaging Core Facility contains equipment used for molecular biology, imaging and proteomics research.
Proteomics Analysis Laboratory & Confocal Imaging Core Facility
In this laboratory, equipment is made available for departmental faculty to work on molecular biology projects. Molecular equipment includes agarose gel apparatus, power supplies, bacterial incubators and shaking incubators, centrifuges, a PCR machine and an agarose gel documentation system.
