Vacation
Residents at all levels
of training receive three weeks or 15 customary working days annually
as vacation.

Any unused meeting funds may be utilized as book
allowance.
Books
Each resident receives
an annual allowance of $200.
Leave
Paid educational leave,
sick leave, maternity leave and disability leave.
Meals
A generous meal allowance
is provided.
Insurance
Paid individual or family
hospitalization, major medical and dental insurance are provided. Life
insurance, professional liability insurance and short-term and long-term
disability insurance are provided by the medical center.
Parking
Free Parking on site
Uniforms
White coats embroidered
with the resident's name are provided.
Faculty Appointment
Residents are appointed
as Junior Resident Instructors in the Boonshoft School of Medicine. This entitles
the resident to a number of faculty privileges at the university, including
use of the library and athletic facilities.
