Dr. Barnett is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and completed a fellowship in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Barnett serves as director of undergraduate orthopaedic education.

James C. Binski, M.D.

Hip, Deformity Correction, Total Joint Replacement
Dr. Binski is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and specializes in limb lengthening and deformity correction for adults and children, hip reconstruction, and total joint replacement.

Matthew J. Di Paola, M.D.
Assistant Professor
Shoulder and Elbow
Dr. Di Paola is fellowship-trained in reconstructive shoulder and elbow surgery. Dr. Di Paola sees patients at our Atrium Medical Center satellite office, as well as at the Dayton VA Medical Center and at our main office in Miami Valley Hospital. Dr. Di Paola is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Ellis is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine in primary care sports medicine subspecialty. Dr. Ellis serves as a team physician for Wright State University Athletics and sports medicine physician for Beavercreek High School.

Anil B. Krishnamurthy, M.D.

Dr. Krishnamurthy graduated from and received his orthopaedic training at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India and in Great Britain. He serves as the Director of Orthopaedic Training at the Dayton VA Medical Center.

Richard T. Laughlin, M.D.

Dr. Laughlin is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and completed fellowships in foot and ankle surgery and musculoskeletal infection. He is the department chair and director of the foot and ankle service.

Matthew W. Lawless, M.D., FACS

Dr. Lawless is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in orthopaedic surgery and in the orthopaedic sports medicine subspecialty. He is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and focuses on all knee problems. Dr. Lawless serves as team physician for Wright State University Athletics and Fairborn High School.

L. Joseph Rubino III, M.D.

Dr. Rubino is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in orthopaedic surgery and in the orthopaedic sports medicine subspecialty. He is fellowship-trained in sports medicine. Dr. Rubino serves as director of resident education and as a team physician for Miami University Middletown and the University of Dayton Flyers.

Joel I. Sorger, M.D.

Dr. Sorger is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and directs the orthopaedic oncology service. He is fellowship-trained in the management and treatment of bone and soft tissue sarcomas and orthopaedic research.

Gregory L Stover, D.O.
Associate Professor
Dr. Stover is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and provides operative and non-operative orthopaedic care in our Sidney and Troy offices north of Dayton, as well as our Miami Valley Hospital South office in Centerville.
Active Participating Voluntary Faculty
Additionally, numerous attendings and voluntary clinical faculty assist in resident teaching training. Voluntary faculty work hands-on with orthopaedic residents during rotations, as well as giving presentations during and attending daily resident conferences. The majority of voluntary faculty are fellowship trained in their respective specialties.
