Research Interests

Dr. Nieder is interested in the use of information technology applied to anatomy teaching. Current projects include development of an on-line library of virtual anatomical specimens in the QuickTime VR (QTVR) format. Dr. Nieder is also involved in a project with Dr. Pearson which is creating a database of neurological teaching videos. Both of these projects are funded by the National Library of Medicine and will result in web-based resources available for use by the medical education community.
