2007-2008 Coordinated Curriculum

This curriculum is a program designed to supplement the Elizabeth Place continuity practice learning experience. All residents are expected to participate. Medical students rotating at the office are encouraged to participate. SNAFU, Journal Club and Senior Board Review meetings begin at 6:15 p.m. at the date shown.

The Med-Peds Reading Club is designed to promote systematic study of internal medicine and pediatrics. The reading schedule is set so that one will complete Neslon’s Essentials of Pediatrics 5th Edition and ACP Medicine in a 24-month period. The reading club will meet every two weeks to discuss the assigned reading. Please be prepared to discuss two concepts that you feel are important with the group. Feel free to be creative in how you choose to share your thoughts with the others (e.g. quizzing the other members, bringing handouts, presenting sample cases, or simply discussing the salient points for example). Faculty members will be invited to these discussions to help guide the group. We hope you will join us in what we hope will be a fun, informal way to reinforce our knowledge base.
