The Medical Academic Operations Group provides classroom and lab support to both faculty and students of the Boonshoft School of Medicine. Lab support includes microscope assignment and repairs. Please report microscope problems to any staff member in the Medical Academic Operations Group, in Room 118 White Hall, or call (937) 775-2986 for further instructions.

Building and room access

Authorized Wright One card users have 24-hour access to White Hall through the front and rear dock doors, plus access to the White Hall labs through Room 130C. The building provides a secure after-hours study environment; please maintain security by keeping the doors closed. If you experience an error with your card not opening a room, please contact Sue Rytel, Medical Academic Operations Group administrative assistant, at (937) 775-2986 or

White Hall verandaClassroom and lab reservations

Rooms may be reserved for meetings/events by emailing the Medical Academic Operations Group at at least 72 hours in advance (allow one week for large groups or complicated setups). Please provide the date and times of your event, any special needs for the reservation, and the name and phone number of an event contact person. Rooms that may be reserved include the Gandhi auditorium (Room 101), McGee auditorium (Room 120), Labs (130 A-E), Gillen rooms (175 A-G) and room 280. Contact us to request use of the atrium for special functions.

Use of the McGee auditorium is encouraged for student events, and equipment in it may be used on a self-serve basis. McGee auditorium must be reserved in advance, and the event contact person is responsible to ensure that the room is secured and projectors and other equipment turned off.
