Angel Kisses, by Benjamin Kohnen ('08)
Your whispering visage lies trapped under a shroud of degradation
Blindly I can remember by caressing my own face
first my eyes, then my nose, then the smile I have carved in my
mind
though time had forcefully removed ...and I begin...
To recall a life when tears did not stain my face
And Disease did not stain yours...and I can dream...
Far off on the horizons of my fantasy
The cool hands of Heaven caress you in their breeze
while angel kisses burn my eye...and I begin...
To blink away remnents of you
falling unceremoniously into your emotionless hand...and...
Reality reminds me of a future with noone to catch my tears
