Geriatric Medicine Fellowship

The Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Geriatric Medicine Fellowship established in 2008 is structured to train physicians to be leaders in caring for the elderly.
The fellowship curriculum includes one-month rotations in Hospice and Palliative Care, Long Term Care, Rehabilitation, Geriatric Psychiatry, Neurology, Women’s Health and Medical Direction. Longitudinal experience in geriatric assessment, continuity home care and continuity nursing home care are also structured into the curriculum. There also is opportunity for scholarly activity.
There are currently two fellows in training, and they are expected to complete training in June 2009.
