Family Medicine Staff Members

Jackie Mullins, residency coordinator, has been a part of the Department of Family Medicine for more than 28 years. She has served in many roles. Since July 2000 she has been the residency coordinator and is indispensable. She loves helping and watching the first year residents mature into independent physicians who serve the Dayton community. She is married with a son and a daughter. When she isn’t working, she is reading and dreaming about her ideal vacation on a beach.

Michael Weaver, CPA, is the business manager for the department. He is a graduate of Wright State University, having majored in both accounting and finance. Prior to joining the department in 2013, he worked in the Dayton area for both NCR and Standard Register. Mike brings a tremendous amount of business experience to the department, including accounting, business operations and financial analysis. When possible, he likes to get away at the noon hour for some exercise. In his spare time, he keeps busy with his tax business and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Cynthia Mason is the senior administrative assistant for the Family Medicine Residency Program at Good Samaritan Hospital. Cynthia assists with the didactics, reports, resident scheduling and working with the physician staff on various projects. Prior to joining Wright State Physicians in October 2013, Cynthia worked for Premier Health as an administrative assistant. In 2013, Cynthia earned a Master of Divinity from United Theological Seminary. She serves as an ordained elder in Columbus, Ohio. Cynthia is married with three children and five grandchildren.

Tanya Ledesma, medical student coordinator, has worked at Wright State University for more than 15 years. She joined the Family Medicine Department in 1997-1998 as unit secretary (in residency and faculty support) and took her current position in 2010. She worked as residency coordinator for the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program in between. She works miracles recruiting preceptors to mentor our medical students. Tanya is married with a daughter and a son. Tanya is a licensed real estate agent and a real estate investor. Outside of work, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, coordinating social events, including charity fundraising, and watching HGTV’s Flip-Flop and Fixer-Upper.
