Policy 5: Specific Faculty Actions

MILITARY PERSONNEL
United States Air Force personnel seeking a medical school faculty appointment must have the written approval of the commander, Wright-Patterson Medical Center. Similarly, Department of Defense personnel and other employees of the Federal government must have written concurrence from their commander or supervisor prior to seeking a faculty appointment.

GEOGRAPHIC TERMINATION
Members of the partially affiliated (voluntary) faculty who move outside of a fifty mile radius of the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine can receive a termination of their voluntary faculty appointment. The departmental chair will determine the need for this action considering the potential of any future academic contributions from the faculty member.
