Personal
I am mostly from the Dayton area (because my father and grandfather were colonels in the U.S. Air Force) and my roots have grown deep to keep me here. My husband is also a physician, which can help or hurt our dinner discussions. We have two wonderful daughters: Julia is almost 4 and Emily is 9 months old. I love teaching, so working with the residency has been a great fit for me, though I feel like I am still learning every day I work. I also love the clinical shifts out at Good Samaritan Hospital, working with a varied and interesting population and great fellow attendings. Concentrating in the simulation lab, I currently am working with Dr. Raymond Ten Eyck with developing curriculum for both emergency medicine and internal medicine residents and improving our product of simulation for those who receive it from us. I love what I do!!!
