Personal Information:
Dr Fieg had formal training and clinical experience spanning more than two decades as an athletic trainer, physician assistant, and hospital administrator before becoming a physician. He served around the world in many positions before being assigned to his present position at Wright Patterson USAF Medical Center, where he plays a key role in the educational experience of the medical students and residents. He is board certified in family practice with the American Board of Family Practice and board certified in emergency medicine by ABEM. He is a well respected physician and officer who is a valuable resource to military and academic medicine. He offers an extensive knowledge base, providing an enthusiastic and supportive learning atmosphere to the students and residents. He has eight years experience as administrative and medical director of three community hospital emergency departments. His hobbies include fitness exercise, bicycling, hiking, fishing, and fantasy baseball. |
