The Department of Emergency Medicine presented Wilderness Medicine Expo 2008 during the Adventure Summit at Wright State University in February 2008. The free program offers presentations and small interactive group sessions focused on wilderness safety, preparation, and survival. This year marked the seventh time the department has presented the program, but the first time the Expo was incorporated into the Adventure Summit, the area’s premiere outdoor adventure exposition cosponsored by Five Rivers MetroParks and Wright State.
