Biography:
Dr. Mary Jo Kerns is a graduate of The Ohio State University School of Medicine and Public Health where she was active in the Physicians Free Clinic and Alpha Omega Alpha. She is a native of Ohio and plans to practice near her home town, Washington Court House.
Research Interests:
Dr. Kerns is assisting in the local coordination of a nationwide 13-site study utilizing etanercept (Enbrel, Amgen) on patients with lichen planus. The study will determine the safety and efficacy of 50mg SQ injections twice weekly as compared to placebo and will span a 24-week treatment period.

Dr. Shannon Verma attended the Ohio State University for undergraduate studies in chemical engineering before continuing at OSU for medical school. She is a native of Dayton and completed an internship at Kettering Medical Center. She plans to practice in the Dayton area.
