Directions to Wright State University

The Weekend Intervention Program is held on the campus of Wright State University (WSU) in the School of Medicine Building. Wright State University is located in Dayton, Ohio, approximately 70 miles west of the state capital, Columbus. Air transportation is provided by several major airlines to Dayton International Airport, located about 25 minutes from the campus. Ground transportation to campus from the airport is provided by rental car, taxi, or limousine service. Dayton is served by interstate highways 70 and 75, which intersect just north of the city.

Due to limited parking availability on campus, we encourage WIP participants to arrange alternative methods of transportation. If you must drive yourself to campus, permits are required in all parking lots. Any fines incurred due to failure to display a proper permit will be your responsibility. Permits for visitors staying overnight may be purchased in advance through the office of the Weekend Intervention Program. The cost is $2.00.

Visitor parking is available in the Wright State University Student Union Parking Lot (Lot 2). The Student Union is located on University Boulevard, the main road through the campus. You may view a campus map showing Lot 2, the School of Medicine building (labeled MS) and the Student Union (labeled SU), or scroll down to view a map showing where the campus is in the greater Dayton area.

From north of Dayton on 1-75. Take I-75 south to 1-70 east. Go east to 1-675 south. Go south to Exit 17 and turn right onto North Fairfield Road, travel approximately 1/2 mile to Colonel Glenn Highway. Turn left onto Colonel Glenn Highway at the traffic light in front of the Nutter Center. At the second stop light, turn right onto University Boulevard The Student Union will be the first building on your right. Turn right and park in Visitors' Lot 2.

From south of Dayton on 1-75. Take 1-75 north to 1-675 north. Go north to Exit 17 and follow the right fork of the exit ramp (do not follow the signs to Wright State). Turn left on North Fairfield Road, travel approximately 1/2 mile to Colonel Glenn Highway. Turn left onto Colonel Glenn Highway at the traffic light in front of the Nutter Center. At the second stop light, turn right onto University Boulevard The Student Union will be the first building on your right. Turn right and park in Visitors' Lot 2.
