Kim Faris from WLQT LITE 99.9, Mayor Rhine L. McLin, and County Commissioner Deb Lieberman came out to promote walking in downtown Dayton. All led groups on walks during the event.

There was free information on exercise and fitness, local bicycle trails, recreation programs and more. Even Heater took advantage of the free blood pressure checks!

Kick-off walkers entered a raffle for prizes, including a set of golf clubs courtesy of McGohan-Brabender and gift certificates from Five Rivers Outdoors.
