Community Based and Health Professions Education

As part of its mission to promote health professions education and clinical training, as well as in its role as an Area Health Education Center, the Center for Healthy Communities presents community-based education opportunities for health professions students in the Greater Dayton area. Recognizing that health professionals work in partnership across many disciplines, CHC strives to present interdisciplinary perspectives of important healthcare topics in its community-based education programs.  The courses supported by the Center for Healthy Communities provide academic credit and often involve service learning opportunities for students.
