CGR GeneChip® Microarray Fees*
Agilent Fee
Each total RNA sample will
be run on the Agilent Bioanalyzer 2100 system to ensure its integrity
prior to RNA labeling. To cover necessary reagents, there will be a
fee of $25 per sample. Check with CGR staff regarding reduced fee for
multiple samples.
RNA Labeling (Biotinylation) Fee
Each RNA will be labeled and
can be hybridized sequentially to at least four GeneChip® probe
arrays.
WSU/GRIP investigators: $250
Non-WSU investigators: Please contact
the CGR for pricing
This fee covers cDNA synthesis, in vitro transcription
reaction, sample clean up and quantitation, spiking with control RNAs,
and making to 1X hybridization solution. The biotinylation fee is to
cover the cost of reagents, and will include hybridization, fluidics
station washing and staining, and scanning of up to four probe arrays
per labeled RNA. The fee does not include the cost of the GeneChip®
probe arrays
Machine Use Fee
- There
is no Machine Use fee for RNA samples labeled by the GeneChip® Microarray
Core.
- For
WSU investigators that choose to label their own RNA samples, there
will be a Machine Use fee of $50 per array to cover costs of stain,
antibodies, and other reagents.
- For
Non-WSU investigators that label their own RNA samples, there will
be a Machine Use fee of $100 per array.
GeneChip® Probe Array Costs
The probe array costs are
subject to change. Current WSU pricing of Affymetrix GeneChips can
be found at the CGR web site. Please
check periodically for pricing changes and special offers.
