Call for Posters

Graduate and undergraduate students, postdoctoral fellows and faculty are invited to present posters related to recent findings in neuroscience and its related fields at the 2009 Ohio Miami Valley Neuroscience Day on Friday, June 5. Submit your poster information online using the form at the bottom of this web page. The poster submission deadline is Thursday, May 28.

MEETING PROGRAM: Poster presenters and titles will be listed in the meeting's print and online program.

POSTER REQUIREMENTS: We will provide an easel and 4x6' foam-core board for mounting your poster. Be sure to bring your own push pins for mounting. Posters can be set up beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 5. Posters must be taken down at 5:30 p.m. on the same day.

POSTER SESSION (3:00-5:00 p.m.; Psychology Building Lobby): Share your research with colleagues and potential collaborators in a stimulating, convivial setting!

POSTER COMPETITION: Prizes will be awarded to the best student posters from each of OMV-SfN's member institutions (Miami University, the University of Cincinnati, the University of Dayton, and Wright State University). In addition, a prize will be awarded to the best overall post-doc poster. Poster judging will take place between 3:00-5:00 p.m. Poster awards will be presented at 5:00 p.m.

Students and post-docs who present a poster or talk at Neuroscience Day will be eligible to apply for chapter travel awards to attend the SfN annual meeting in the fall.

Registration for Neuroscience Day is free for 2009 OMV-SfN members. Please register in advance so we can plan accordingly for the attendance. If you are not an OMV-SfN member for 2009, please Join!
