OMV-SfN 2007 Winter Meeting
at the UC Genome Research Institute (GRI)

The OMV-SfN 2007 Winter Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 10, at the University of Cincinnati's Genome Research Institute. The meeting begins at 1:00 p.m. in the Building A Lecture Hall at GRI. Free of charge, the Winter Meeting includes a mini-symposium followed by the chapter's annual business meeting.

In addition, James Olson, Ph.D., will talk about a neuroscience outreach program he has developed for the Science Olympiad competition for middle and high school students.

At the business meeting, OMV-SfN officers will present three amendments to the chapter bylaws. The first amendment authorizes direct election of officers at the business meeting instead of election by mail vote. The other amendments revise bylaw language regarding the time of the business meeting and the definition of a quorum for meetings. Download an Ms Word file of the proposed amendments. From Miami University: - Take Ronald Reagan Hwy East to Galbraith/Reading Road exit
- At end of exit ramp turn left on Reading Road
- Go one block, turn right on Galbraith Road
- Cross railroad tracks
- At stoplight turn left into GRI drive
From the University of Cincinnati: - I-75 North to Ronald Reagan East
- Take 1st exit off Ronald Reagan (Galbraith/Reading Road exit)
- At end of exit ramp turn left on Reading Road
- Go one block, turn right on Galbraith Road
- Cross railroad tracks
- At stoplight turn left into GRI drive
From Wright State & University of Dayton: - I-75 South to Galbraith Road exit
- Turn left at end of exit ramp onto Galbraith Road
- Proceed East on Galbraith
- Cross railroad tracks
- At stoplight turn left into GRI drive
Once in the drive, follow the signs for UC/GRI. You will need to check in at the guard gate. Tell them you are attending the OMV-SfN meeting. They will be expecting you. The meeting will be held in the Building A Lecture Hall.
