This is a “can’t miss” event for your entire family!  Everyone is invited – alumni, faculty, staff, students, and residents. The cookout will start at 11:30 a.m. outside of White Hall. After a delicious lunch, kids of all ages will have a great time with inflatables and games. The Cincinnati Zoo will be making an appearance with some of their animals and we will have a visit from a very talented balloon artist. You are also welcomed to take your family on one of our guided tours of the Gandhi Medical Education Center.

Hours for the park are 10 a.m.–10 p.m.

Pre-registration is required for all events. If you have any questions, please contact Nicki Crellin at (937) 775-4911 or email nicki.crellin@wright.edu.

Can you help with the Bed & Board Program?

As a graduate of Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, you probably remember interviewing around the country to identify your next step — your residency program.

Our fourth year students are just beginning this process. After four years of medical school, finding the right residency program is an exciting — if slightly daunting — task for them, and we’d like to ask for your assistance as they prepare to travel for interviews.

The Bed and Board program matches our fourth-year medical students with alumni volunteers during residency interviews as they travel around the country. Alumni volunteers provide lodging for medical students in their homes during interview travels as well as offer invaluable advice to the students about the community in which they are interviewing. It is a great way for alumni to reconnect and give back to their alma mater and also see the caliber of students at the Boonshoft School of Medicine.

If you are able to help our medical students in these or any other ways, we’d love to hear from you. Read more about the program here, and let us know where you are and how you can help.
