White
Hall — Medical Education Center
Completed in 1981, this building was named in honor of Wright
State University's first employee, Frederick A. White, who served as
a business manager, vice president, treasurer and acting president.
The building was remodeled and rededicated as
a state-of-the-art medical education center in fall 2008. The building includes a new 150-seat auditorium
and an anatomy learning center. The following programs and offices are currently housed
in the building:

Matthew O. Diggs III Laboratory for
Life Science Research
Opened in fall 2007, this 45,000-square-foot building is one of the first university research laboratories in Ohio registered under Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability through a variety of energy-saving methods. The building houses the matrixed Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Center for Genomics Research, as well as the
Wright Brothers Institute. |
