Our guiding principles are to promote the dimensions of wellness: emotional, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, spiritual, environmental,and financial, through:
- Listening and learning from communities;

- Encouraging citizen participation.
- Collaborating with business, public, and nonprofit sectors and others interested in wellness;
- Building consensus before acting;
- Recognizing and using existing assets;
- Identifying root causes and basing decisions on evidence; and
- Establishing the concepts of wellness as a right.
Our Goal is to conduct a Mobilization for Action through Planning and Partnership (MAPP) Assessment focused on 7 dimensions of wellness with the following components:
- Community wellness assessment
- Community wellness system
- Community wellness themes and strengths
- Assessment of the forces of change that impact assessment
- Action planning based on the findings of the assessments
