The 6th Annual African-American Wellness Walk (AAWW) was held Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Island Metro Park.

This Health Fair & Non-Competitive 5K Fitness Walk started with a 8am registration where free t-shirts were given to the 1000 participants. The Health Fair consisted of health screenings, educational displays and exhibits.

Zumba instructor Camela Douglass led the walkers in a warm-up.
